We had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. They even gave us rides to and from the train station. The breakfast and dinner were exceptional, with traditional Japanese cuisine as well as French cuisine and Teppanyaki. We had the opportunity to try every type of cuisine on offer during our 3-night stay. The private onsen bath was great and we loved going around in kimonos. the hotel facilities were outstanding with a small sword museum and scent bag making activity.
Can't fault the property in any way.

the Spa and wellness centre was top-notch with professional masseuses offering full body, foot, back and head massages. the stunning sun terrace and garden area were perfect for relaxation. the hotel restaurant offers delicious special diet menus and the breakfast and dinner options are superb. the room advantages are exclusive with private facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. The location advantages offer beautiful views and easy access to the surrounding area. Cons: There was a minor issue with communication as the staff did not speak fluent English. they were still very professional and accommodating to my needs.

Great location, quiet and private. Excellent French restaurant and Japanese breakfast with beautiful gardens and relaxing atmosphere. Bonus: in-room hot springs and friendly staff.
The overall condition of the property is outdated and in need of renovation. The carpet in the lobby is worn and dirty, and the furniture is old.
